One of Instashade’s most recent and exciting projects saw our team taking a trip to the beautiful seaport city of Waterford, Ireland, the country’s oldest city. We worked alongside Waterford City Council with the expansion and revival of the city’s hospitality sector through the installation of our centre post parasols.
These parasols have already allowed residents and tourists alike to make the most of the city’s beer gardens, terraces and alfresco dining culture in the many bars, restaurants, and cafes that Waterford has to offer. These outdoor areas can now be used throughout the winter and continuing into the warmer months ahead.
Whether you’re out to dinner with the family, having your morning cappuccino or perhaps meeting friends for a glass of wine after work, the development has allowed the hospitality industry in Waterford to maximise clientele footfall and given the local business the facilities to offer sheltered and stylish outdoor space for their customers all year round, whatever the weather.
Investment from Waterford council saw nearly 40 parasols from our range fitted around the city. The parasols chosen were Instashade’s most popular centre post model – the Nova. While the parasols are available in a variety of colours including pistachio, slate or smoked tweed (and can even be adorned with personalised company branding), the council opted for a range of sizes in our classic and subtle ‘Natural’ canvas colour.
