20 Stories, Manchester
For those of you based in the North West of England, you will have no doubt seen 20 Stories, even if you haven’t eaten there—you will have most likely witnessed it on Instagram or Facebook, as the restaurant is famous for its city skyline photo op as it is for its fine dining.
And it’s easy to see why. Set way up in the sky on the roof top of No 1 Spinningfields, overlooking Manchester, the panoramic views of the city are breathtaking…
20 Stories were looking for luxury Pergolas to sit alongside its vibrant greenery and deep fire pits on their outdoor roof terrace. We installed our Technic Pergolas, which include sliding glass windows & doors, ambient lighting, and a rotating roof to create a cosy and upmarket drinking and dining experience no matter the weather.
Extreme E, Sardinia
If you’re not in-the-know, Extreme E is an off-road racing series founded on a social purpose: to minimise environmental impact and maximise awareness of our planet’s most pressing issues, by racing in areas that have already been damaged or affected by climate change.
Instashade was proud to supply over 30 of our centre post Café Series Parasols for the Extreme E event in Sardinia last year. All parasols were custom printed with the event’s sponsor logos, Zenith Watches. Due to the location, high levels of sun protection were needed, and we used our solution-dyed acrylic fabric, with the highest possible rating of UPF80, to provide shade in this hot climate.
Waterford City Council, Ireland
Stepping over the water from Instashade’s homeland, the team recently travelled to Waterford in Ireland as part of a huge project with Waterford Council to support the local hospitality industry to fully expand and utilise their outside areas all year round, whatever the weather, to encourage the outdoor dining/drinking culture and boost business.
The Council invested in almost 40 of Instashade’s most popular commercial parasols for local pubs, bars, restaurants and coffee shops, including two of our traditional centre post parasols—the Café Series Parasol and the Nova Parasol.

The good old afternoon tea never really went out of style. In fact, it’s enjoyed a real resurgence in the hospitality sector in recent years. There’s something very British about being huddled around fine crockery, cups to the brim with piping hot tea, nibbling on sweet biscuits. Many restaurants and hotels have now brought the …
Café barriers are often placed in outdoor areas to keep the breeze at bay, but their capabilities extend much further than this. If they’re custom designed, they can also be used as a promotional tool for your business. But what type of design will work best for yours? Here, we outline five ideas that are …
While we’ve enjoyed the long, hot days of the UK’s surprising heatwave this summer, the colder days of Autumn and Winter are just around the corner.
