We love sharing our tips and ideas on how to lift your exterior space into another, stylish stratosphere. However, choosing your Instashade parasol is only part of the launch to a new look.
The rest comes with physically installing the parasol in your backyard, patio or commercial hub. As with our canopy range in general, there are a couple of options to plunder – today, we’re breaking them down, in preparation for your order.
Portable application
British weather is famously unpredictable. One moment you’re basking in the glory of the sun; the next, it’s winked out behind a cloud, emerging later in a totally different place. And as it shifts, so might your furnishing, even just for the sake of creativity.
For this reason, some of our customers prefer a fully-portable parasol, one that can be lifted and planted somewhere else in a couple of minutes. All of our parasols come with a spigot as standard. It’ll attach to a removable base that follows your canopy to the brightest points of your outdoor arrangement.
We recommend a portable cross-base for anyone who flits back and forth between the style and layout of their garden. Just make sure you have heavy-weighted pavers to hold it securely in place.
In-ground fitting
Now, on the other hand, it’s perfectly reasonable to finalise a setup you’re committed to. That’s why you might choose to have the parasol concreted in place, providing a permanent base for outdoor pursuits.
Installation is a simple DIY job, although our installation team are here to help if you want fast, clean and long-lasting results from your luxury umbrella installation. All you need to do is find a suitable spot – paving and gravel are ideal.
Semi-permanent installation
Looking for something in between these two options? You’ll be pleased to hear that there is a middle ground. A semi-permanent base is superior for wind-resistance, although you can still remove the umbrella if you want to add another foundation somewhere else.
Simply order a base plate when purchasing your parasol, as this can be bolted directly to concrete or decking. It has a discreet 400m diameter, meaning you can fully remove the umbrella and spigot when not in use.
Specialist installation
Our final two options take a pinch of D.I.Y panache from your end. We are, of course, completely aware that not everyone is a dab hand at the fiddlier aspects of parasol installation.
The Instashade installation team operate across the whole of the UK. Wherever you are, our parasol experts will deliver the model to your door, at a time and date that’s convenient, before getting to work on the base. We also work closely with regional contractors, so the subtle, practical elements of your space are catered for.
Nothing could be simpler when opting for parasol perfection. Call us to outline your concept – will it be a semi-permanent stand, or portable luxury? Don’t leave your sensibilities in the shade, figuratively speaking…
